Press Statement: Resumption of Public hearings

13 March 2014

Public Hearings of the Commission of Inquiry will resume on 17 March 2014 at Lookout Hill in Khayelitsha, and will continue until the 1st of April. (No hearings will be held on 19 – 21 March).  During this period, the Commission will continue to hear the evidence of police officials from Khayelitsha as well as more senior officials from the Province. A copy of the Hearing Plan for the 9 days is attached.

The date by which the Commission must submit is final report to the Premier of the Western Cape has been extended to 11 July
